Winter Only

Yes, it’s April. But it is no surprise. It snowed around this time in 2020 as well. We just got lucky in 2021. It is a mistake to take it for granted that we’ll have a warm Spring. I might as well think that the season is only one - Winter. There will be a handful of warm days here and there as a spice. New April is still Winter.

I thought to myself, “If I don’t go outside to run when snowed in April, I’d get more depressed.” So I went for a run. I felt better afterwards.

今日から条例で季節は「一季」と私が勝手に定めます。これからは基本「冬」で夏のような暑い時間がスパイス的に訪れる、と思うようにします。

4月を春と捉えることが間違いで冬だと思えば暖かい方ですから。

よく考えると初雪は去年11月11日だけど初フルを走った去年9月13日は既に6℃でしたからね(笑)

4月にこんなに雪が降るなんて私も鴨もびっくりしました。

雪のおかげで鴨の足跡もクッキリ🦆

こんなに雪が降った日に走らなかったら、余計に落ち込むと思ってスピ練をした。３４km/hの強風に煽られ雪に負けたけど、ハムストリングを使えば雪に沈まないことがわかった。雪の上で走るのはやっぱり楽しい。マラソン大会まで一ヶ月ほどしかないのに、準備不足。
