This is a drawing from this summer. The city of Saskatoon in June changes its colour from brown to bright yellow. It is refreshing to run between the blue sky and the field of yellow dandelions. It’s too bad that dandelions are not welcomed in Canada. There doesn’t seem like any nostalgia of childhood here as we do in Japan. I used to make crown with them, use as a decoration for a pretend kitchen in a street, and and and… Nowadays, my kids give me a bouquet of dandelions, then I feel the summer has come.
